HALO Space Capsulle Tourism 2025 Balloon
We have seen the future of luxury travel, and it includes both Space Perspective’s Neptune as well as the all-new HALO Space capsule. The startup plans to fly at least 400 commercial trips carrying 3,000 passengers by 2029, and it’s set to complete a test flight in December.

This first test flight is scheduled for the third week of December and takes off from the Balloon Facility of the Tata Institute for Fundamental Research (TIFR) in India. A second test flight has already been planned during Q1 2023 in Spain. If both are successful, they will move forward with their goal of offering zero-emission commercial flights at 25-40 km altitude using a giant aerospace balloon, enabling passengers to see the curvature of the planet Earth for 4-6 hours comfortably in a pressurized capsule boasting 360° views of the Earth and beyond.

HALO Space Capsulle Tourism 2025

Our priority from day 1 has been technical and operational excellence. Over the past 12 months we have worked with the best and most experienced companies in the aerospace industry to leverage existing, proven, and safe technology. Our team is very pleased with what has been achieved in this first year, but we are even more excited about where we are headed: taking thousands of passengers to the edge of space in a life-changing experience up to 40 kilometers above the Earth,” said Carlos Mira, CEO and founder of HALO Space.
