There are still 5-days left until October 21, 2015, better known as the date Marty McFly and Doc Brown arrive in his flying time machine. Unfortunately, the Mattel hoverboard is still at least 5-years away from becoming an affordable household gadget, even if the technology exists now. Fortunately, Arx Pax is working on making it a reality with their Hendo 2.0 Hoverboard. Designed with the help of skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, this device’s hover engines are integrated into the trucks to improve traction, and it features a host of updates including USB connectivity, extended battery life, along with a wireless safety switch that enables users to remotely shut their board off.
