Hitachi and Bridgestone have unveiled a new 13.1-inch. 4,096 color e-Paper display that generates images in 512 x 384 resolution. No word yet on availability.
…but the joint effort has gone a step further than Sony’s PRS-500 and iRex’s iLiad variants to develop an electronic-ink display which produces not only black and white and grayscales, but colors as well. Among the uses for this display in its current state may be displays at trade shows or even dynamic signs at your local supermarket
