Huawei MatePad Paper MWC 2022
Watch out Kindle, the Huawei MatePad Paper was unveiled today at Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona. Featuring a 10.3″ E-ink FullView display with a screen-to-body ratio of over 85%, it utilizes a proprietary algorithm to provide a natural paper-like experience for users, while supporting second-generation Huawei M-Pencil and supports for multiple input methods, including handwriting, voice recording, as well as handwriting-to-text conversion.

At $556 USD, it runs Huawei’s own HarmonyOS 2, which lets users start reading text on their smartphone or PC and then continue reading it on the MatePad Paper. You can also use the tablet as an external storage for PCs and laptops. Other features include 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and a fingerprint sensor for extra security. The device comes bundled with the M-Pencil and a Folio cover.

Kindle Paperwhite (8 GB) – Now with a 6.8" display and adjustable warm light – Black
  • Kindle Paperwhite – Now with a 6.8” display and thinner borders, adjustable warm light, up to 10 weeks of battery life, and 20% faster page turns.
  • Purpose-built for reading – With a flush-front design and 300 ppi glare-free display that reads like real paper, even in bright sunlight.
  • More books in more places – Store thousands of titles, then take them all with you. A single charge via USB-C last weeks, not hours.
