NASA / ESA’s Hubble Space Telescope observed a galaxy cluster, classified as ACO S520, containing several large elliptical galaxies, along with a sneaky ring-shaped galaxy is hiding on the right of the image. You also see two bright stars at the left of the image, shining brightly with their crisscrossing diffraction spikes.
ACO S520 is located 485 million light-years away in the constellation Pictor and was captured by Hubble’s Advanced Camera for Surveys. Hubble captured this celestial phenomenon while searching for massive, luminous galaxy clusters that had not been captured by earlier surveys. Astronomers used this data and found numerous interesting targets for further study with Hubble.

Galaxy clusters are among the largest known objects in the universe. Studying these objects can provide insights into the distribution of dark matter, the mysterious substance that makes up most of the mass of a galaxy cluster,” said NASA.
