The HubblePhone from Turing Space Industries was inspired by the actual telescope, and rightfully so. In addition two the dual displays, the handset features a 60-megapixel camera integrated into the cylinder section with 15x optical zoom, two Snapdragon 855 processors, AR / VR compatibility, and a USB-C charging port. One caveat: it’ll set you back a cool $2,750 when / if released.
Now the only missing feature that we hope it has is a functional telescope function. Sure, adding a powerful lens may ruin its pocket form factor, but being able to whip out the HubblePhone on a clear summer night in the desert for stargazing would be out of this world, or so we’d like to think.
