You may have seen or heard about the hubless Lunartic bicycle by student Luke Douglas of the Loughborough Design School, now see it in-action. In addition to being belt-driven, “the rear wheel hasn’t got a hub, so there are no spokes.” Video after the break.
It would be cool if that drive mechanism could be used as a dynamo to charge up gadgets.
