Huupe Worlds First Smart Basketball Hoop
Having a smart home is nothing new, but for those into basketball, Huupe is a must have. This smart basketball hoop comes equipped with a screen that replaces the traditional backboard, offering advanced training mechanisms as well as a sleek all-weather design. Not only does it come loaded with training videos, but also contests, as well as video highlights directly from the smart hoop’s backboard.

It further utilizes machine learning and computer vision to track players’ statistics while playing and then analyze the data captured to improve their game. Co-founders Paul Anton and Lyth Saeed spent a year prototyping and then another three years perfecting Huupe’s hardware as well as software with CTO Dan Hayes. There’s no word yet on pricing, but the company is taking pre-orders for $100 with a ship date expected some time during the second half of 2023.
