Hyundai unveiled its E4U Personal Transporter at the Seoul Motor Show earlier this week, and quite frankly, it looks like a motorized egg. The company claims that the E4U moves by using a horizontally-spinning semisphere that’s tilted to generate drive while two stabilizing wheels at the rear keep it moving straight. It works like the lower half of a ball and is used for propulsion instead of wheels. While the vehicle is stationary when standing upright, as soon as the driver pushes forward it drives on at walking speed.
