ICON and Lennar reveal the first completed 3D-printed model home at the Wolf Ranch community in Georgetown, Texas. This community consists of 100 homes and more than 80 of them are under construction, with several of them already sold ahead of their September move-in date.
There are 8 different floor plans that range from 1500 to 2100 square feet, each with three to four bedrooms and two to three bathrooms. The building process included the use of 3D robotics and an additive construction technique to ensure that the wall systems are energy-efficient, mold, water, and fire-resistant, and require minimum waste during the construction period.
