Designer Luis Hernan’s “Digital Ethereal” is a high-tech project that utilizes long-exposure photography to show what Wi-Fi signals would look like if they were visible. This was made by possible with his Android app “Kirlian Device mobile”, which is software that displays Wi-Fi signal strength with an array of colors. Here’s what the creator has to say, “The digital ethereal is a creative practice research project which sets out to explore the materiality of wireless protocols. This video documents the exhibition The secret body of Wireless, which aimed to portrait Wireless protocols as ghost in different media, including photography, installation and a google-glass prototype.”
