I’m Back is unofficially the world’s first digital film roll for 35mm analog cameras. Put simply, the cartridge consists of a 20MP Sony IMX 269 Micro 4/3 digital sensor and a 1.5-inch LCD that shows you exactly what your photo is going to look like. WiFi connectivity means that transferring photos to a smartphone will be a breeze.
Adjusting the sensor to the correct position, is as easy as sliding it to the left or right. This ensures that the sensor is always centered in the camera’s viewfinder. Since the hole’s placement is standardized in most cameras, it’s simple to adjust across many, if not all, camera models. Available for pre-order now, priced at $711 USD, with shipments beginning in July 2024. Kickstarter page here.
