NASA Pumpkin Carving

NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California employs hundreds of engineers, and when they’re not working around this time, they’re busing carving pumpkins. That’s right, each year they compete in an ‘unofficial’ pumpkin carving contest to showcase their creativity “I don’t think, even at the time, they appreciated just how seriously our engineers were going to take it,” said NASA mechanical engineer Mike Meacham.
