Intel NUC 9 Extreme Kit Ghost Canyon
Intel’s all-new NUC 9 Extreme NUC9i9QNX (Ghost Canyon) is touted as the smallest gaming PC that you can buy without having to build from scratch. What sets this one apart from others is its modular design, built around Intel’s Compute Element, which means as you outgrow your processor, simply replace the entire Compute Element with a newer version. Read more for two videos and additional information.

Ghost Canyon is sold as a bare-bones kit consisting of a chassis, preinstalled 500W power supply with pre-routed cabling, and Intel’s Compute Element (CPU, cooling, system ports, and wireless connectivity module). You’ll need to purchase the storage, RAM, expansion cards (discrete GPU, etc.), and the operating system, separately. For those interested in a top-of-the-line model, $1,700 gets you an NUC9i9QNX with an Intel 8-core, 16-thread Core i9-9980HK.
