ReignCom has announced that it will release an iRiver portable gaming system to compete with Sony’s PSP. The most notable feature in this gaming device is its support for WiBro which will make wireless gaming a breeze. Technical details have not yet been released. The iRiver gaming system will be released next August, no word yet on pricing.

“ReignCom, the makers of iRiver products, are based in Korea and this unit is designed to capitalize on the emerging WiBro networks in the country. 9 million WiBro subscribers are expected in the country by 2001.”
