Real-life transforming robots are nothing new, but this is the first one we’ve seen that can actually transform with people inside. Standing 3.7-meters tall, this two-seat robot, dubbed “J-deite RIDE”, can transform from car to robot in 1-minute, and walk at a speed of 100 meters per hour or drive on its four wheels.
Now the only question left to ask is who would be grave enough to actually ride in this real-life Transformers car if it were street legal. Just the individual components pieced together doesn’t seem like a secure enough vehicle to even handle regular road streets, much less the highway.

The robots I’ve seen in animation movies since childhood all had this kind of look and they transform into or combined with each other to become something else with people on board.
