Lamborghini Revuelto Knockoff Replica Nissan
A group of Vietnamese tuners called NHET TV has turned a 1990s Nissan Cefiro into a stunning copy of the Lamborghini Revuelto. This is a labor of love that requires skill, patience and being able to see potential where others see trash.

Starting with a Nissan Cefiro (known as Maxima in Western markets), the team removes all the key components. The V6 engine, a reliable but uninspiring powerplant from the mid 1990s, is the heart of the project. Unlike many replica builds that use the donor car’s existing bodywork, these guys remove most of the Nissan’s body. They use a hand crafted steel frame, each piece cut and welded by hand. This solid and precise frame is the base for their Revuelto, emulating the aggressive stance and sharp angles of the Lamborghini hybrid.

With the frame in place, the team starts to shape the car’s body. They start with sheet metal, cutting and bending it to recreate the Revuelto’s lines. To get the curves and creases right, they bathe the metal in clay and sculpt it like sculptors would with marble. This is where the car starts to take on the Lamborghini shape. Every part, from the hood to the rear is carefully crafted. When the clay sculpture is done, fiberglass is applied over it. When the fiberglass is hard, the clay is removed and you have lightweight, finely cut panels that mirror the Revuelto’s future design.

Inside, the team uses clay to shape the dashboard and transmission tunnel so the inside is as realistic as the outside. Fiberglass follows and you have clean, professional looking parts. They care about more than just looks, although functionality is important too. Suspension components are built from scratch and bolted to the steel chassis so the car moves and handles properly. The Nissan engine is reinstalled and modified to make the car run smooth, but it’s no match for the original Revuelto’s 1,001 horsepower hybrid system.

They don’t cut corners and it shows when they installed a deployable rear wing, a Revuelto signature, that actually moves. Every vent, crease and curve is intentional, to make your eyes believe it’s a million dollar supercar, not a recycled Nissan.
