1:1 Scale LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 Museo Automobili
Starting this week until October 6th, you’ll be able to see a 1:1 scale LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 at Museo Automobili Lamborghini in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The 4,850-pound supercar was made using over 400,000 LEGO Technic pieces and took the team 8,660 hours to complete.

Sián translates to “lightning” or “thunderbolt” in Bolognese dialect and that’s why the LEGO Group made the lights and thunderbolt capable of flashing down the bodywork, just like the Y-shaped lights on the real vehicle. Plus, the hexagonal tail lights can also be turned on and off. What’s next for the LEGO team? Possibly a life-sized Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 that can actually be driven.

Our designers love challenges, so you can imagine how delighted they were when we asked them to work on this model and look at things in a slightly bigger way than usual. They leaped at the chance to work with the incredible designers and engineers from our production workshop at the Kladno factory in the Czech Republic, who build these stunning full-scale models, and really pushed back the boundaries of what can be done with LEGO Technic,” said Lena Dixen, Senior Vice President of Products and Marketing at the LEGO Group.
