Urus Launch Control

The Lamborghini Urus isn’t the most eco-friendly car, or at least compared to the Tesla Model X, but it sure is quick. Broosk, owner of the DragTimes YouTube channel, recently created a video showing the SUV accelerating from 0-60 mph in a hair-splitting time of 2.93 seconds, making it a full 0.5-seconds faster than Lamborghini’s official figure. “The impressive figures don’t just stop in the sprint to 60 mph. Given a little more room, the Urus ran to 100 mph (160 km/h) in 5.7 seconds and launched from 60-130 mph (96 km/h-209 km/h) in 8.8 seconds. Powering the Urus is a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 delivering 641 hp and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of torque. Like the Aventador and most Huracans, the Urus is also all-wheel drive, but does weigh a substantial 2200 kg (4900 lbs),” reports Car Scoops.
