This engine was built from the ground up using various LEGO pieces, including ones from the discontinued Expert Builder sets. It isn’t just a shell of an engine, but rather one with moving parts, including the propshaft, crankshaft, cylinders, sixteen valves, and more. When all was said and done, Koblentz’s 4-foot-long engine weighed in at a hulking 39.6-pounds, all controlled by LEGO 4.5-volt motors running off a Laser computer.
