
From afar, some might confuse this 1:6 scale British Airways Concorde aircraft for its long retired counterpart, but it’s actually the world’s largest RC model. You won’t find this in any store because it was entirely hand-built by Steven and Matthew Bishop, complete with a 6-foot-tall tail and 13-foot wingspan.
When fueled, this remote-controlled Concorde weighs in at almost 330-pounds, powered by four JetCat 300 Pro engines. Other features include pneumatic gears, a 24L fuel tank capacity, and a 30L air tank. One thing this model can’t do is go supersonic and achieve a top speed of 1,354 mph while carrying passengers from London to New York in a mere 2 hours 52 minutes and 59 seconds.
