Inspired by the Dodge Power Wagon from 1946, the Legacy Classic Power Wagon isn’t just a restoration project, as it can achieve speeds in excess of 100 mph – the original tops out at 50 mph, and can go from 0-60 mph in just 6.2 seconds. It’s powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter Chevrolet V8 that produces 585-horsepower and 580 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission. Other features include: a classic LED-backlit instrument panel, an air-conditioner, tilting Nardi steering wheel, Mercedes-Benz-sourced carpet, Cadillac Escalade seats and a microfiber headliner from Porsche. One caveat: prices start at $185,000. Continue reading for another video of it towing a CAT vehicle and more information.
“Underneath, you’ll find a Dana 60 front axle and a Dynatrac Pro 80 rear fitted with ARB locking diffs and Warn locking hubs. An Atlas two-stick transfer case sends power to two wheels or four through Tom Woods custom driveshafts, and a Flaming River steering column with Borgenson U-joints get the front wheels turning in the direction you want. Vented, 13.25-inch rotors hang at all four ends, cupped by two-piston calipers fed by stainless steel brake lines,” according to Autoblog.
