You’ve seen DOOM running on a Milky Way candy bar, now check out this fully automated LEGO candy factory that can automatically sort and dispense pieces. It uses several parts from LEGO Technic and LEGO® Mindstorms kits, as well as other custom electronics.
Whether it be sorting candy or fulfilling orders from customers, this LEGO candy factory does it all autonomously. That’s right, after dispensing each order into the cart, it is dumped onto a conveyor belt that shuttles the pieces back to the sorter. Unfortunately, there are no plans for an official release.

One possible improvement would be to hide the ‘recycling’ so that it looks like the candy is actually getting shipped out at the final stage. You could add an illusory ‘packing’ stage where the open box appears to be sealed. In reality the open box discreetly dumps the candy and is swapped out for a closed box. The first stage could also be an illusion where the candy is being made from raw ingredients or something,” said one commenter.
