Brick artist ‘Hooded-Blazed’ designed a LEGO Ideas Portal Gun that is well on its way to becoming a real set after receiving 10,000 votes. In game, this device has the ability to manipulate objects within its direct vision, allowing the user to move it wherever they please.
Also known as Aperture Sciences’ Quantum Tunneling Device, this LEGO version has been redesigned to be stronger internally, while the exterior includes some finer details to make it more aesthetically pleasing, with some key components staying the same from the original concept. The set is currently in review by the LEGO Ideas team, so if all goes as planne3d, we should see it in stores by the end of 2024 at the earliest.
