First, there was the D-LUX 7 James Bond, and now, the Leica Q2 ‘100 Years of Wonder’ Disney special edition camera has arrived. Its design is inspired by a model sheet created in 1937 by one of Walt Disney Studio’s noted animators, Don Towsley, while a Mickey Mouse print adorns the camera’s top plate
The camera itself is a standard Leica Q2, which features a 47.3 megapixel full frame sensor capable of capturing exquisitely-detailed still pictures and 4K video in amazing quality at ISO sensitivities up to 50,000. An IP52 rating means that its protective sealing is safe against dust and spray-water. Plus, you also get a Disney-themed protective dust bag and special rope strap. Limited to 500-units worldwide, it’s set to be released on April 27, 2023, priced at $5,995 USD.
