LG has just unveiled three new “Fantasy” LCD displays, the 17-inch Ring (1280 x 1024), 20-inch Eclipse (1680 x 1050), and 24-inch Jar (1920 x 1200). They feature 2000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness, touch-sensitive controls, and a 170-degree viewing angle.

That said the Fantasy Series still has a remarkably striking presence and they are sure to join specialist lines such as Acer’s Ferrari LCDs in capturing the imagination once they launch early next year. The Ring will be first off the production line with an anticipated RRP of £260
