LimX Dynamics takes Boston Dynamics’ Spot to the next level by adding wheels onto their quadruped robot. Called W1, it comes equipped with advanced perception / motion control algorithms and in-house developed actuators that allow the robot to tackle complex terrains with ease.
The proprietary actuators not only enable high-dynamic motion and all-terrain abilities, but let W1 climb stairs, ascend / descend slopes, overcome road curbs, on-sided bridges, grass / slate roads, as well as gravel. Practical applications include industrial inspection, logistics, distribution centers, research, and education sectors.
