Linus Tech Tips LAN Party House Kenton Varda
Linus Tech Tips recently visited the ultimate gaming mansion, also known as the LAN Party House by Kenton Varda and Jade Wang. Located in Austin Texas, the house has 22 gaming PCs spread across multiple areas, with 12 in the basement, 6 in an upstairs office, and others in dedicated spaces like “call rooms.”

Each one of these stations is built into custom-designed, foldable cabinets that tuck away neatly when not in use, keeping the space organized. The basement’s 12-station setup is particularly impressive, designed for team-based gaming sessions. Where are all of these PCs powering the stations? In a dedicated server room with a specialized cooling system (15KW AC unit) of course, connected to stations via fiber-optic cables for low-latency gameplay.

This dedicated server room has an extremely powerful cooling system to manage the heat, ensuring reliability during marathon gaming sessions. Plus, there are four DDR dance pads built right into the floor, tucked under carpet panels, for a fun, active switch from PC gaming.

The house is a practical family home for Kenton, Jade, their two kids, and their cat. It’s got kid-friendly spots like lofted beds in the children’s rooms and cat-friendly features, like secret cat doors and a hidden “cat restroom” under the stairs to keep litter boxes out of view.

Built from the ground up on an empty lot, the house was designed with help from Kenton’s dad, Richard Varda, a well-known architect who worked on big projects like the Kingdom Centre in Saudi Arabia. Kenton and Jade helped shape the design, with Kenton even creating the gaming station cabinets and other stuff like a custom conference table himself.
