Unlike other flashlights, Lumen doesn’t require batteries, ever, and that’s because it converts body heat to energy. Each one of these devices comes with a small vial of tritium, which produces luminous gas for over a decade. Users are instructed to place it directly on the light’s case so that it can be located in less than optical lighting conditions.
