Bionic Eye Camera

Filmmaker Rob Spence decided to replace his prosthetic glass eye with a more powerful camera, and call himself “Eyeborg”. He lost vision one eye in a freak accident as a child, while incorrectly holding the shotgun and shooting a pile of cow dung. From afar, the camera-eye looks like normal, but it’s actually equipped with a micro radio-frequency transmitter that transmits images to a handheld monitor. “Literally everybody [said] it as a joke – people during the surgery say, ‘Oh you should get an eye camera.’ The idea is so out-there in pop culture and science fiction,” said Spence.
