“I have been using this for 4 months and I don’t even notice the blue light inside by the fan while I’m working. Also, I don’t need to hide on my PC as some reviewers have seemed to need. Yes, it will shine a small blue light that can be seen from a distance, if this is an issue for you or if you want a perfect dark room for video watching or anything else. It is really not that bright of a light. My main use for this is on an HP 15.6″ laptop, which fits perfect like it was meant to be.
