Meta Avatar Calls Real-Time Launch
Meta Avatar calls are set to launch and they can be used for real-time calling when using Messenger as well as Instagram when you’re not camera-ready. A new feature on Facebook and WhatsApp will soon let you take a live selfie and generate an avatar in seconds. You’ll then be able to customize the avatar to best represent yourself.



If you’re not on a video call, Meta’s new Avatar stickers are a great way to express yourself. Users can add friends to Facebook Stories by simply tagging them, so you can have an avatars can hang out of sorts and do things together in the metaverse just like in real-life. Social stickers of you and a single friend can be shared in 1:1 message threads to relive memories or just enjoy a quick moment together.
