Meta Movie Gen has just launched, and it’s one of their most advanced AI models yet. In addition to generating custom videos and sounds, users will also be able to edit existing videos, as well as transform their personal image into a unique video.
Movie Gen has four capabilities – video generation, personalized video generation, precise video editing, and audio generation – that are the result of being trained these models on a combination of licensed and publicly available datasets. The video generation’s 30B parameter transformer model is capable of generating videos of up to 16 seconds at a rate of 16 frames per second. You can also use a person’s image and combine it with a text prompt to generate a video that contains the reference person as well as rich visual details informed by the input.
