Worldweight by August Kamp is unofficially the first music video made with OpenAI’s yet to be released Sora text-to-video generator. The artist felt like this piece of art was their absolute heart and soul, especially after remembering the notes tumbled through her hands and onto the keys of a synthesizer almost two years ago.
With that said, Sora is able to generate these videos due to its deep understanding of language. This means the AI model can accurately interpret basic text prompts and generate realistic characters and objects that express vibrant emotions. It’s also capable of creating multiple shots within a single generated video that accurately persist characters and visual style.
