You haven’t seen a beach house, until you’ve seen the Modern Mirage House. Located on the Greek island of Tinos, this 198-square-meter residence was designed by the Kois Architecture team, and is perched atop a steep, rocky hillside. The actual home is built directly into the hillside, buried in the landscape. What’s really cool is the roof, which doubles as an infinity pool, perfect for enjoying panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. The team decided upon this design to provide thermal insulation for the guests in addition to also protecting them from solar radiation. Continue reading for more pictures.
