The “Mushroom Dome Cabin” appears to be straight from a fairytale, but this is a real home, and Airbnb’s most popular rental. Located in the Redwoods of Aptos, California, this cabin comfortably sleeps three people, and has two levels: the first with a pentagon-shaped base and a second loft level. The latter features a double bed, complete with geodesic dome that’s perfect for stargazing. The bottom floor offers a comfortable couch that can also be used as futon, kitchenette set, dining area, and a bathroom.
