Nanobots Human Body
Futurists claim that nanobots could be flowing through your body within the next 10-years, protecting you from diseases or even sending information directly from the cloud. These microscope robots will be transported inside you on a molecular level, protecting your biological system as well as ensuring quick and speedy recover from any ailments. Researchers believe they could be used to reduce plaque in veins, solve dietary issues, and achieve a greater state of connectivity.

The most farfetched idea so far is using nanobots to transmit our thoughts to the cloud, or having information transmitted directly to our brain. This would combine both neuroscience and nanorobotics into a single device, which could lead to privacy issues. Futurist Dave Evans believes that technology and biology will be merged in three stages: wearable (current), embeddable implants (near future), and then the replaceable phase.

As a proof of principle, nanorobots loaded with combinations of antibody fragments were used in two different types of cell-signaling stimulation in tissue culture. Our prototype could inspire new designs with different selectivities and biologically active payloads for cell-targeting tasks,” according to scientists with the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering and Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School.
