Fortnite’s Unreal Engine 5 upgrade looks incredible, so it wouldn’t surprise us to see more games getting the same treatment, including Need for Speed Underground 2. This racing game was released over 18-years-ago and a remake would be perfect if released next year to coincide with the Fast & Furious 10 movie premiere in May.
For those who don’t remember, this game starts off immediately after the player has defeated Eddie and his street gang, “The Eastsiders”. The player is then called by an unidentified man with an “invitation” after the race to join his team and that he “is not taking no for an answer”. You end the call without answering and start driving to a party, but are quickly ambushed by a Hummer H2 that rams into your Nissan Skyline GT-R, wrecking it.
