Netflix is delivering Stranger Things Season 5 in a unique format, splitting its eight episodes into three volumes. The first four episodes land on November 26, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. PST, kicking off the final chapter just in time for Thanksgiving. Three more episodes follow on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, also at 5:00 p.m. PST, ensuring a holiday binge for fans. The season concludes with a single, climactic finale episode on New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2025, at the same time. “The fight isn’t over yet. Get ready for the epic series finale of Stranger Things,” Netflix teased on social media, setting the stage for a holiday season packed with suspense. This staggered release mirrors the two-part structure of Season 4 but adds a third drop, making the final stretch a month-long event.

Set in the fall of 1987, Season 5 picks up after the catastrophic events of Season 4, where rifts to the Upside Down tore through Hawkins. The official synopsis paints a grim picture: “Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown.
