It’s designed to work seamlessly with iPadOS features such as Scribble, Quick Note, while hover is supported on M2-powered iPad Pros, enabling users to sketch and illustrate with even more precision.
Accessing the USB-C port requires you to just slide the cap over, and when magnetically attached to iPad for storage, it automatically enters into a sleep state to maximize battery life. The Apple Pencil 3 works best with the 10th Gen iPad as well as all iPad models that have a USB-C port, including iPad Pro, iPad Air and iPad mini.
