After weeks of rumors, the Nintendo x LEGO Donkey Kong expansion sets have been revealed, and it includes Diddy Kong’s Mine Cart Ride ($109.99). The latter is a 1,157-piece set that recreates one of Donkey Kong’s most iconic locations. Simply place a LEGO Super Mario figure in the mine cart and ride around the track, while atteptming to defeat the Mole Miner as well as ‘explode’ the rock to reveal a lot of bananas.
The sets also include Donkey Kong’s Tree House ($59.99), Dixie Kong’s Jungle Jam ($26.99), and Rambi the Rhino ($10.99). Donkey Kong’s Tree House lets you use a LEGO Mario, Luigi or Peach figure to explore the character’s humble abode. Inside, there’s a buildable TV, radio, an option to play the conga drums, and the ability to visit Cranky Kong to earn digital coins. All four sets will be released on August 1, 2023.
