
HMD Global is bringing back the infamous Nokia 8110, as made famous by “The Matrix” film, and it has retained its banana-inspired form factor. Priced at $97, this slider phone features 4G LTE connectivity, a Qualcomm 205 Mobile Platform processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, a 2.4-inch QVGA display and a 2-megapixel rear camera at the rear. “The Nokia 8110 runs on the Smart Feature OS, so this is a basic feature phone and you�re not going to get access to the Android apps found on other Nokia Android smartphones. However, HMD is creating an app store for the device, which will include Facebook so there’s a chance other third parties might create their own apps for this,” reports The Verge.
