Not only is the X-T1 a CD/MD player but it also offers iPod support via the “DS-A1″ adapter. This adapter works just like an iPod dock allowing you to control (w/X-T1 remote control) and recharge the player. The X-T1 sports an FM/AM tuner, 7.5W x 2ch amplifier (298 x 222 x 203mm/3.7kg), and 2 way bass reflex speakers w/”AERO ACOUSTIC DRIVE” (125 x 206 x 221mm/0.9kg each). Connect other devices (“DS-A1”) to the system through the built-in R1 port. Onkyo will release the X-T1 on February 17th in Japan at the price of $373 USD.
