Just when you thought computers couldn’t get anymore secure, the ORWL appears. This mini personal computer has all of the standard security features available, but to prevent itself from physical hacking, it boasts a self-destruct feature that wipes its storage clean of all data. The computer comes pre-installed with either Windows, Ubuntu, or Qubes OS, and offers protection against UEFI / DMA attacks, USB-based exploits, and there’s even a special key fob that uses NFC to verify that the user is authorized. When the special sensor is out of range, the PC locks down its USB ports to prevent any tampering. As for the physical hacking, Orwl can detect tampering of its electrical components even when unplugged and then wipes its encryption key to prevent anyone from gaining access to your data.
