The Pagani Huayra is already one of the most sought after hypercars, but the company’s new Pagani Huayra BC is certainly no slouch. just speedier. Powered by a twin-turbo 6.0L V12 engine that produces 789hp, mated to a seven-speed dual clutch transmission, this model weighs in at 2,685-pounds, which is 300-pounds lighter than its predecessor. This was made possible with a new lightweight titanium exhaust system, high-performance Brembo brakes, custom forged wheels, and a revamped aerodynamic body made from a composite that’s 50% lighter than carbon fiber. “Pagani shed a bunch of weight off of the original Huayra model – around three-hundred or so pounds, taking it down to 2,685 lbs. Some of the more substantial cuts come via the updated seven speed automated manual transmission and differential – which are now about 40 percent lighter. Made from aircraft grade HiForg aluminum for increased responsiveness and decreased weight, the suspension on the BC also got slimmed down a good deal,” reports Hi Consumption.
