
Remember Grim Fandango? If your memory is fuzzy, it is a 1998 adventure game by LucasArts for the Windows platform, and the first one by the developer to use 3D computer graphics overlaid on pre-rendered static backgrounds.

Unlike this gingerbread instant film camera, imitation crab meat requires quite a bit of technology to make into the sticks you see at supermarkets worldwide. These machines basically blend processed fish, called surimi, with various texturizing ingredients, flavorants, and colorants.

At first glance, this appears to be a normal hunting knife, but Jay Bowles’ creation is actually a working, Halo-inspired plasma knife. More specifically, a weapon inspired by the “Energy Sword” from Halo, complete with a 3D printed enclosure.
