You’ve seen the concept images, now check out Honda’s Project 2&4 in the wild. It’s essentially an 893-pound, four-wheeled vehicle with a steering wheel and racing seat. Now why is it a motorcycle hybrid? This vehicle is powered by a Honda superbike 1L V4 four-stroke superbike engine that produces 212-horsepower @ 13,000RPM and 87 lb-ft of torque @ 10,500RPM, mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. “Honda says the Project 2&4 concept’s body design and engine position are inspired by the Honda RA272 Formula 1 car from 1965. Despite the mid-mounted engine, the single occupant Project 2&4 features an offset ‘floating driver’s seat,’ which combined with the open-cockpit design ‘evokes the freedom of a bike’ while ‘placing the driver as close to the action as possible,” according to Motor Trend. Robotic Cockroach

At first glance, this appears to be a creepy crawly normally found scuttering around your home, but it’s actually a robot. This miniature cockroach, which movie autonomously at speeds up to 12-inches per second, has been fitted with photosensitive sensors and could be equipped with cameras. Thunder Power

Tesla may have some competition soon from a new electric vehicle called “Thunder Power”. This vehicle, created by a Taiwan-based power tool manufacturer, can travel up 373-miles on a single charge. The standard model will reportedly produce around 430-horsepower, and be able to go from 0-62 mph in under 5-seconds, while topping out at 155mph. Eurocopter X3

For those who don’t know, the Eurocopter X3 is an experimental high-speed compound helicopter that has achieved 293mph in level flight, setting an unofficial speed record for a helicopter. It’s based on the Eurocopter AS365 Dauphin helicopter, with the addition of short span wings each fitted with a tractor propeller, having different pitch to counter the torque effect of the main rotor. Unlike other ATVs, the Polaris WV850 H.O. the first model to offer airless TerrainArmor tires, and according to the company, they can take a direct hit from a .50-caliber round and still drive 350 miles; they also last 1,000-miles after running over a railroad spike. How does it work? Well, the mesh inner structure supports the weight of the vehicle, while still being flexible enough to smooth over bumps. Velux Cabrio Balcony Window

Many older homes just weren’t designed with balconies in mind, but Danish window company Velux aims to solve that issue with “Cabrio”. It’s basically a two-section dormer, each serving a different purpose – the top opens for ventilation, while the bottom is an integrated banister that moves outward, creating a space to stand, like a real balcony. Stonehenge on Mars

Another day, another bizarre sighting on Mars. This time, a mysterious circle of stones in Stonehenge-like formation, have been spotted on top of a raised mound on the planet. Internet users are calling it ‘Marshenge’, and one red planet researcher, Mr Enigma, said: “It looks eerily similar to what we have here on Earth. I’m just saying there is something strange about this area and that it looks very much like the mysterious ancient stones of Stonehenge.
