Chicago-based entreprenuer and inventor Geraint Krumpe has developed something worth getting “egg-cited” about, an innovative gadget that gently spins the egg, blending the yolk and the white without cracking the shell itself. Called the Osteoid, this futuristic-looking creation appears to be straight from a science fiction film, but Deniz Karahasin’s invention is actually a 3D-printed cast that speeds up bone healing by nearly 40% using ultrasound technology. Simply put, Osteoid requires a mere 20-minutes, thanks to low intensity pulsed ultrasound (LIPUS) leads that are placed on the skin, right over the bone injury. Here’s what creator Mark Phillips and his Arizona-based company, Lipsmark, LLC, has to say about Palcohol: “It varies per version but basically, alcohol […] and in the cocktail versions, natural flavorings and Sucralose as a sweetener. The ingredients of each version are listed on the front of the package.
