It was only a matter of time before a Palworld Pokemon mod attracted the attention of Nintendo, and for all the wrong reasons. ToastedShoes’ mod initially featured Ash, Pikachu and more familiar characters, but he quickly received a DMCA notice, forcing him to release a bizarre modified version that may leave you confused.
In place of the actual Pokemon characters, you’ll find a custom ToastedShoes character with ‘red and white’ cap, a ‘Jar’ capture device that replaces Pal Spheres, and a Zoe and Grizzbolt boss fight that has been swapped out for a ‘surprise’. We won’t spoil the rest, except for the fact that Better Call Saul’s Saul Goodman does make an appearance. If you’re still interested in trying it out, download the mod here.
