Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 40 Laptop Rugged Intel
Unlike other laptops, the Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 40 boasts a modular design that allows mobile workers to modify the device quickly and easily for different challenges by equipping 7 expansion areas. It’s built to last in the most extreme conditions, complete with military-grade security and communications capabilities to support mission critical operations.

Due to its modular design, users can easily swap out the battery, RAM and SSD, while four other expansion areas add smartcard / fingerprint readers as well as multi-user authentication for when the laptop is being used by a team. The expansion areas can also be used to add a second SSD, DVD / Blu-ray drives, or configurable ports (VGA, True Serial, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A, and a second HDMI or native GLAN). It comes standard with an Intel Core i5-1145G7 vPro processo, 16GB (up to 64GB) of RAM, and a quick release 512GB (up to 2TB) NVMe OPAL SSD. Available late spring, priced from $4899 USD. For something more immersive, there’s the Panasonic SoundSlayer wearable gaming speaker system.
